Addiction Is a Problem

In the US, half of people over the age of 12 have used illicit drugs at least once, and nearly a quarter of illicit drug users possess substance use disorders—that is, an inability to control their drug use despite the harm it causes.

It’s difficult to overstate the anguish of knowing you’re on a destructive path but being unable to turn away. Unfortunately, less than 10% of the 22 million Americans living with substance use disorders wind up receiving adequate treatment.

But there’s hope.

Raising Hope

Since 1981, Covenant Community has helped thousands of men stabilize their lives, find employment, and return to their families. We provide them with the treatment and support systems necessary to kickstart their recovery and reshape their futures.

CCI is Fulton County's leading nonprofit provider of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment for men.
80% of men admitted to Covenant Community complete the program successfully.
100% of those who complete the program are discharged into stable and or supportive housing and receive higher than minimum wage.

Holistic Support

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to addiction. Recovery requires treating the system of needs that influence each individual: medical, psychological, social, vocational, legal, and spiritual.

Covenant Community provides residential treatment that includes individual and group counseling, case management, housing assistance, financial education, career development, 12-Step programming, as well as positive recreational activities.

In 2023, we will also be launching a new Families of Hope program to strengthen individuals’ support systems by educating family members, improving communication, and mitigating family triggers.

The treatment is expansive, but the impact is profound.
